When we started developing SORVEL, we knew we wanted to make something for men too.
And the brief was pretty straightforward: a swim short that looks good, moves well, and doesn’t come with everything we don’t want.
Too many men’s swim shorts are either too long, overly technical, restrictive through the leg, or built with a mesh liner that isn’t particularly comfortable.
So we started with the things we wanted to change.
Decker is our first men’s swim short.
A 3.5-inch inseam keeps the length short and clean without feeling like a running short. The fit allows more room through the leg and thigh, because men with athletic legs shouldn’t have to size up just to move comfortably.
And there’s no mesh liner.
The design itself stays simple. Clean lines, practical construction, and the same attention to fabric and fit that runs through the rest of Collection No. 001.
We’re still developing Decker, and there are details we won’t show until we know they’re right. That’s part of the process.
But it was important to us that men’s swim be represented in the first SORVEL collection from the beginning.
Not as an extension.
As part of SORVEL.
