Every brand has a first collection. This is ours.
Collection No. 001 began with a small group of silhouettes and a clear idea of what we wanted from them: beautiful fit, clean lines, quality fabrics, and nothing added simply for the sake of adding it.
The collection introduces SORVEL through four founding designs.
MAE 001
Our fixed-triangle bikini. Feminine, minimal, and refined through proportion and fit.
RIVA 002
A bandeau designed around a clean neckline and sculpted shape, without unnecessary detail.
LEIGH 003
Our first one-piece. A modern silhouette with a higher leg and a closer, more considered fit.

Our first men’s swim short. A 3.5-inch inseam, unlined construction, and a fit developed with movement—and actual legs—in mind.

We’ve spent months working through proportions, fabrics, construction, hardware, coverage, and the small details that can completely change how swimwear feels once it’s on the body.
Some decisions have been easy. Others have meant going back, changing something, and trying again.
That is part of building the first collection.
Collection No. 001 isn’t finished yet. Samples are still being developed and details are still being refined. We’d rather share that honestly than make the process look further along than it is.
